Evan Karns Slaughenhoupt, Jr., (pronounced Slog'-n-hop) served in the Air Force, then a civilian employee within the Department of Defense taking various overseas assignments and an early retirement in 2002. Evan was then employed by a major aerospace company before retiring in 2018. Also, during the years from 2010 – 2018, he served two terms as an elected County Commissioner in Calvert County, Maryland. Evan earned his bachelor's degree from University of Maryland majoring in Geography and minoring in History. His Master of Science came from the National Intelligence College. While an elected official, he also served on the Board of Directors for the Maryland Association of Counties and graduated from the Academy for Excellence in Local Government, University of Maryland School of Public Policy. Upon retirement in 2018, Evan, his wife Jeanne and son Christopher Bialoblocki relocated to Venice, Florida.
