today, in a census record with the keyword magehee, i found the link from Isaiah McGehee to Eli McGehee.

i am, now, seeking the documented link from Eli to a father McGehee [unless his mother's last name was McGehee and he took his mother's name; idk].

seems to me that someone, somewhere, has a letter or something with this link printed on it and, if it does [by documentation] turn out that we are either of Clan MacGregor or Clan MacKay--my mother, Bobbie, swore up and down that we're Irish, which could put us with the latter and not the former--i would like as many certified/notorised/whathaveyouised copies of the documented links to present to Lord Lyon, please.

idk what a Sasine is, and the quote from the email that i received [today;18Oct2021] is, "We require them to be certified copies or copies signed by a solicitor or notary public to say they are true copies."
