I was born in New Orleans, LA and lived in Louisiana most of my life. I am currently living outside of Atlanta, GA.

My father's family was from Louisiana and my mother's family was from Sussex, NJ - many of my relatives still live there today. I have never been to New Jersey and know very few of my "huge family" members in that area. My grandmother was Serena Post Card Rome and my grandfather was Henry Rome Sr. I think I am possibly related to most of northern New Jersey! My father's family was much smaller than my mother's family.
I joined to add whatever I can for others to see & learn from, most of my knowledge is about people from Louisiana.
I'm sure the future generations will find all info added by each source a true blessing. Hopefully, I have added memorials or photos that someone will find of great interest.
