I studied history at uni and haven't really done much with it since. Interested in where we all end up in the end, and how we are remembered.
My goal on here is to add information to local grave sites and cemeteries, with the aim of making life easier for those who want to find their ancestors. Finding, and showing, the links between family members is a real interest of mine, as I think it's important to understand how families came to be, and how we all ended up where we are today.
I also aim to add information to war graves, and war cemeteries, so that the lives of those that served and sacrificed can be seen. One thing that I can't bear to see, is a simple "PVT J Smith". For me, I want to give that soldier their first name back and, hopefully, bring them back into their family tree through finding their parents/spouses/children.
Each grave on here has a story behind it, and if I have added, or become the manager of any of your family members, please don't hesitate to let me know to transfer them over to you.
