I have been into Genealogy for a few years now and find it quite fascinating.
My Father's side come from Flintshire, most worked in either the Lead mines near Flint or the Gresford Colliery near Wrexham...many died there too! That is the reason my Grandfather walked from Ruabon, Wrexham to Colwyn Bay in search of work in the Limestone Quarries in Llandulas and Llysfaen.
Mum's side were mainly Slate Quarrymen from Rhosgadfan near Caernarfon.
Now spending a lot of time in Skerries, Dublin and working through requests over here.
