Bio

Recently retired from the oilfield and enjoying life on the farm in Hainesville, Texas I enjoy finding out about my predecessors and the history of Wood County, Texas through genealogy, books and articles, and personal accounts of past events as well as mapping local (historic) cemeteries. I enjoy working around the farm, fishing the pond, and taking rides on the Goldwing to photograph headstones for FindaGrave requests. And, above all, I enjoy starting each day with a cup of coffee on the front porch and a game of fetch with the dogs. Life doesn't get much better than this!
