Due to this pandemic quarantine, I have been researching my genealogy to pass the time. My family also has a genetic disease that runs through the Lyons side of my father's side of the family, from Alabama and Oklahoma. There may have been a couple adoptions since this disease is deadly and causes surgical complications. My mother's side is more from Georgia.

Family members surnames are Erwin, Hill**, Lyons**, Peterson, Gilliland, Clifton*, King, Campbell, White, Flannigan/Flanagan**, Alford*, Thomas, Carroll, Humphries/Humphreys, Sargent*, Purvis*.....

(*) indicates possible Ehlers-Danlos syndrome type 4 carrier, and
(**) means most definite EDS type 4 per family history.

Beyond the Lyons's and Flannigans EDS genetics and early parental deaths, I have hit a total roadblock due to southern American Jim Crow laws and discrimination back then or something. ANY HELP would be GREATLY appreciated.
