Bio

I'm retired and now have time pursue hobbies such as genealogy. About 20 years ago I was given a typed family history and genealogy for my father's family. It went back to the mid 1630's at the Massachusetts Bay colony and contained approximately 175 names and biographies. However, the only names I knew on my mother's side were my mother and grandmother. I have been curious about her family ever since. I now have the names of over 300 direct ancestors. I also did an extended family tree of my Fortune ancestors showing as many relatives as I have found to date. This tree contains over 3200 names of aunts, uncles, cousins, their spouses, and spouses parents. The direct ancestor family names from the 1800's to present I'm interested in are: Bainbridge, Barney, Baynon, Bratt, Brown, Dadman, Deck, Falkner, Fleming, Foudray, Fortune, Freeman, Jones, Kimball, Lloyd, McCandless, Milroy, Mullet, Obray, Postles, Rowland, Schriber, Snoddy, Taylor, and Wright.
