My mother's name was Elizabeth Ann Taber (first marriage: Danis, second marriage was Robert Mendenhall) My father's name was Frank Danis, Jr. (I really didn't know him well) However my mother's side of the family prior to her death in 1962 was large and very inclusive. After my mother died, it became harder to maintain the family connections. Since retiring from the department of corrections and rehabilitation (CDCR) as an academic teacher, I have more time to devote to finding family. I currently live in Deming, NM just a few miles from the Mt. View Cemetery and it is becoming a hobby of mine to visit there and take pictures of graves and locate GPS coordinates.
