There has been a long family story of how we ended up with the last name Jones. My great grandfather was Holcomb. He changed his name to Jones, married my great grandmother, had four children, one of which was my grandfather, and then disappeared. It wasn't until recently (May 2020) that we made a connection between one of his children and the Holcomb line. It has opened up so many feelings and family.
