Bio

I have always enjoyed visiting cemeteries, but it was not until the early days of the Covid-19 Pandemic in Spring 2020 that I started to contribute to this site.

I am not possessive of any of these memorials, so if you desire a transfer of any of the ones I currently manage, please write to me and simply ask, and in most cases, you can expect that I will quickly oblige.

I am very familiar with the Find-a-Grave guidelines on transfers, but I do not feel that I as a mere lone contributor am bound by them. What I mean by this is if someone wants me to transfer a memorial I currently manage of someone who is not a direct relative of theirs, but maybe someone who was a dear friend, teacher, mentor, neighbor or noteworthy personality, then just let me know.

Ultimately, if a dispute arises between anyone concerning someone who is a relative, then it is for the administrators here at Find-a-Grave to step in and handle the matter based on their own guidelines, not me.

You have blanket permission to use any of the photos of grave-markers I have taken and uploaded to this site. Attribution is not expected nor necessary.

I do appreciate hearing from people who come across any of these memorials and find them helpful in any way. I also like to learn any information about the individuals I might have had a hand in memorializing, so please write and share whatever you might know with me. I do enjoy hearing from people.

Finally, I do not think I will ever cease to be amazed at the level of teamwork that is required to make this site possible from persons in every remote corner of the world. Truly something. My only wish is that the various multi-billion dollar corporate entities that own this site would open their eyes and see the utter crassness in slapping advertisements on pages intended to memorialize the deceased. It really needs to end.

***

Due to other commitments, as of early October 2022, I am not contributing to this site as much as I used to, nor am I currently keeping up with all suggested-edits that come in. I am letting all edits go to the default "auto-accept" feature after 21 days.

I still try and respond to direct private correspondence including transfer requests within one week.
