My mother began researching the Rainwater family and the Rainwater name after marrying my father in 1972. She did a lot of work (without the internet !!) but eventually over a decade later ended up abandoning her search as she felt she had gone as far back in our family history as possible.

She inspired me to look into our family history and I'm hoping to build upon her research and re-inspire her to come back to her project and work with my to keep learning about the family.
