I have such a love of history and genealogy is just that. It has provided me with many rewarding stories of my family and the trials and tribulations that they endured in the early years of Missouri. Since retiring I have spent a great deal of time doing research, grave hunting, documentation, and story gathering. My family both mother and father lines have been here in Boone, Callaway, Howard, Randolph and Audrain Counties since the early days of Missouri. When I began this hobby in 1975 it was a much more difficult task than it is today with the internet and the wonderful assistance of scanned documents that are available. I only regret that I don't have more historical photos of my family to share.
