I'm retired and recently discovered that only two members of my generation of my dad's family are alive and that the younger generations know little about our ancestors. While accumulating information on the family I stumbled upon Find A Grave and am truly thankful for those of you who volunteer your time and efforts to record our history. I have been able to find and connect all of my dad's and mom's parents and siblings as well many distant relatives to their respective families. As I progress in my endeavor I hope to be able to identify and connect more family and friends so their loved ones can find them if they look.
