I've been researching various subjects for much of my life, but I'm quite new to this site and to researching my genealogy (at least actively).

I'm a Murdock and a Bartram--I'm having difficulties tracing my grandmother's side of the history. (These are the two major names on my father's side, though naturally there are all of the women who married into each of these lines and who are my direct great-great--and so on--grandmothers).

I like many things such as ballet, reading, writing, and I love research.

I do speak French, but have not used it regularly for many years, so si vous étes (je ne peux pas faire des accents sur l'ordinateur--je vous demande de me pardonner) Français ou Francaise et je peux vous assister, n'hésitez pas de m'écrire.
