I was born and raised in Pueblo Colorado (son of David Newton and Gaynee JOHNSON Yarberry). I graduated from Central HS in 1978. I then graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point in 1982. I developed my interest genealogy after getting a copy of Dorothy Turner's book on my family entitled "A Branch of the Yarberry Tree." I have been actively involved in genealogy since the 1980s.
