Angel M. Otero Jr. was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico to Angel Manuel Otero Aviles and Isaura Rios Figueroa of Manati, Puerto Rico. Angel Jr. Is the oldest of four, he has one brother (Angel David Otero) and two sisters ( Iliana Denise Otero & Yadira Inette Colon). Angel Manuel Otero Jr. was in the U.S. Navy from July 2000 until April 2005 and was stationed on board the USS NIMITZ (CVN-68) Deployed to the Persian Gulf during Operation Iraqi Freedom 2003. He then joined the U.S. Army from June 2009- Feb 2018 Deployed to Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom 2010-2011; deployed to South Korea for Operation Feoul Eagle 2012 and deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom 2014-2015. Angel has one daughter Danadyia Gale Otero with Darkita Nichelle Patton and is married to Jacqulyn Dale Muse. They were married in Louisville, Kentucky January 15, 2011. They have one son together, Amadeo Manuel Otero.
