Bio

I've been researching my family ancestry since 2001. My previous work is on Ancestry.com but I'm now sharing the results by contributing on Find A Grave for those who are interested.

My interest started after my father died, when my step mom brought me a box of old photographs that I had didn't know my father had. I found photos of my 3rd great grandparents and their children among them. I joined Ancestry.com to find information about them and met a 2nd cousin, Janet, who had been researching them for 20 years. She was thrilled to see the photos and shared her research with me. I learned a lot from her.

Armed with my new knowledge, I began researching other family branches intensely until I reached seeming dead ends and for lack of time to dig deeper. I have returned to my wife's and my family research to expand everything now that I'm retired.
