Bio

Wishing I could've lived longer to see if I changed history with my DNA.

A little about myself. My birth mother was 19 when she became pregnant with me , and my birth father was 32 and was already in a relationship, and got married a few months later. He never was faithful to the many women he was with. I have 6 half siblings.
My birth mothers parents looked at the situation of my birth mother being pregnant as an opportunity to make money, so my birth father paid them, in return for their silence, and had me removed from my birth mother, so I'd never know who my birth father was. This fractured the relationship my birth mother had with her family.
My birth mothers great uncle told me that I'd know who my father was by his first name. I've always suspected who my birth father was, from a very young age.

I was adopted by Irvin and Mildred Vanwyck and was raised on a farm near Owen Sound, Ontario. Both my parents have passed.

I am the new generation of researchers by using the science of DNA rather than documents. Since I am adopted there is no paper trail. I have successfully found my birth family on both my mothers and birth fathers side thanks to Ancestry DNA. There is no DNA for my birth parents, it's through their families that have done their DNA that confirms my lineage.

I have found that the Elvis Presley genealogy tree that is online is not accurate. No surprise since there wasn't DNA science to confirm the ancestors were correct, back then. The tree hasn't changed in decades, so I'm happy to share my public tree that is with Ancestry, with some of my DNA matches, (in almost every branch of the tree),that are attached to Elvis and myself. I also can be found in Family Search which is a free genealogy site, but unfortunately, Family Search members can change the tree whether they are related or not. So that tree is incorrect, as it copies completely what Elvis Presley genealogy has been shared for decades, with no DNA contribution because I haven't done my DNA with Family Search.
