I find genealogy so interesting. I have been researching for several years now.
My Great Grandmother saved boxes of pictures, quilts, and letters and passed them down to my Grandmother then my Mother and on to me.

My mothers family and my fathers family can both be traced back to the Mayflower. We have ancestors that were in the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, Civil War, WWI, and WWII. There were mothers that died during childbirth and children that died young. There was even a distant ancestor that killed his father!

It is all so interesting and surprising.
