At the creation of the web. I David spent days off for public consumption transcribing countless wills, Deeds, Index's Bible records ect. I transcribed this to basic text format for posterity, giving to future generations. The information age of genealogy was upon us.

No DNA yet created for personal consumption. Times were always about what the papers said.
And in many ways still the same.

Modems became like supersonic. 2800bps, bits per second. Company's Like Mindspring, AOL and others were connecting people from far away places. I became a contributor interested to see how far this could go.

I that time i managed 3 counties web sites. Along with multiple e-mail list. (I don't miss those so time consuming) All people had the same ability as everyone else to ask and share.

You Could ask your history questions freely and learn. Unencumbered! And administers could remove bad conduct. They are called moderators today.

So mistakes are made in this area we know. Changes are made constantly to history over time.

My biggest lesson, now a rule, never go to another continent (country) for a book. Not ever, Never. later to find the author lived in the state beside you. And has died. Ouch
