I have done extensive genealogy and family research for over 20 years on both the paternal and maternal sides of my family. My family lines include Awbrey, Hudspeth, Oliver, Smith, Lawhon, and Gardner.

Most of my work was in the basements and rooms of numerous courthouses and many personal interviews with older family historians, many of whom are now deceased. Over the years, I have amassed a large collection of old family photos and numerous anecdotal stories, some of which can never be repeated. It has all been, and continues to be, an amazing and enjoyable adventure.

I maintain all of my lineage records containing over 10,000 kin in Family Tree Maker. All of them were entered one by one with the assistance of other family genealogists who helped compile all of the family history in various books and records.

I restored and continue to help maintain a once severely neglected family cemetery and have done detailed surveys and mapping of other cemeteries.

I have only recently had time to turn my attention to Find a Grave and look forward to working with various memorial managers to improve the information and family connections associated with my family lines.
