Mary Ann (Cheshire), Maxedon was my 2nd Great Grandmother. I've been searching for other descendants. I was born in Tenn. and my Dad 's birth mother Essie Maxedon had a rare neuromuscular disease, Hypo Periodic Paralysis which causes episodes of paralysis because our cells don't hold onto Potassium like they should. As far as I know Essie was the only one out of nine children who had the attacks.
