I transcribe and photograph mainly gravestones/memorials that contain my family surnames.

I do take many other photographs whilst in a particular churchyard and cemetery in case they can be of use to a family member who does not live locally or is unable to visit the grave.

I also take photographs of particularly worn memorials so that there is a record of them in case they become completely illegible at a later date. I hope this will help a member of their family with their research.

If you come across one of the memorials that I have transcribed and the person is a member of your family I am happy to transfer management of this memorial to you unless they are a close relative of mine.
