Bio

I've been finding families and building family trees for over 30 years. I enjoy visiting and maintaining family grave sites. I find great satisfaction in properly cleaning gravestones and restoring them to their former brilliance (I use D2 biological solution). I love to update and provide suggestions for family memorials. The majority of my ancestor's graves are in north central Indiana.

My paternal line settled in central Indiana in the 1840s. They migrated through Pennsylvania and Guernsey County, Ohio, from the Chesapeake Bay area of Caroline County, Maryland, between 1790 and 1840s. Before the Civil War, my maternal side came from Germany and settled between Westchester County, New York, and Stamford, Connecticut. At the beginning of the 20th century, my maternal great-great-grandfather, now widowed, moved to Mattoon, Ill, where my great-grandfather was raised and married. Eventually, my grandparents on both sides converged from Illinois and central Indiana to Kokomo, Indiana, where my parents went to school and met.
