My family has actively done genealogy since my grandparents began searching for their Conover/ Van Couwenhoven/ Van Kouwenhoven relatives in southern Ohio in 1920 that descend from the original immigrant from Holland . My grand father's Hixite Quaker family came to Waynesville, Warren Co., Ohio about 1807. We descend from Harlan, Carter, McPherson, Farlow lines. I am active in DAR and Ohio OGS. For several years I volunteered for the Beavercreek Historical Society and for the Family History Center Library.
