In 2018, St. Peter began the application process for a Michigan Historical Marker. We used findagrave.com to help with an audit of the cemetery as part of this project. The cemetery plots were mapped for the oldest sections and memorials were added that were missing. I will continue to manage these memorials unless someone requests a transfer.

Only memorials for St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery will be managed here. I will transfer any memorials to someone if they are family. Any additional information found in the official acts such as additional middle names will be passed along as edits whether they are in this cemetery or others.

If you would like to transfer any of your St. Peter memorials to this profile, please feel free to do so.

Since 2018 the headstones have been cleaned using d/2 biological cleaning solution (the same stuff used at Arlington National Cemetery).

On Nov. 30, 2022, our Michigan Historical Marker was dedicated by the church entrance.
