I started researching my father's family in 2012, hoping to have a complete tree for him by his 80th birthday. His family has deep roots in the counties of Coos and Douglas in Oregon. I found Oregon Pioneers, Pilgrims, and old English nobility.

My main focus is on the following families, including the year they arrived in Oregon: Carter (1852), Casebeer (1852), Clinton (1873), Detwiler (1900), Miller (1907), and Moore (1912).

With one or two mysteries still remaining, I have put together a comprehensive history of these families leading to the joining of the Moore/Miller, Detwiler/Clinton, and Moore/Detwiler families. I'm more than happy to share any information that will help others put their story together.

I'm grateful for the memorials that helped me along the way. Now it's my turn to give back and do some of the legwork for you.
