Bio

I enjoy being a volunteer for Find A Grave, taking pictures of local markers creating and updating memorials on this site. When creating new memorials, I try to cross reference all the information to either Ancestry or Findmypast before adding them. I have researched my own family tree for over 15 years now and I know how frustrating it can be seeing misleading or incorrect information online, so I try to provide the most accurate information on each memorial as I can.

Editing my memorials.

I enjoy the time and take pride in the effort I put in to creating and managing each memorial. My sincere hope is that by creating a digital memorial loved ones can still be remembered even if the original physical headstone has weathered or fallen into disrepair, as so many seem to be nowadays sadly. Allowing ancestors to connect with their past and remember their loved ones, especially if they cannot visit the grave, is one of the main drivers for me to do this work. If I am unsure or have any doubt of the information then I will not add it to the memorial. Equally I don't approve any edits requests on my memorials unless the information cross references and checks out so if it doesn't, then I will not approve it. If I do decline your edit request, please contact me and we can brainstorm to make sure the correct information is updated to the memorial. I won't take if personally if you don't approve any of my edit requests. Everyone researches differently and I respect that.
