Bio

My name is Kathleen (Kathy) (Nord) Fleming. My birthdate is January 4, 1942. Growing up in the Collinsville, IL area, I met and married my husband of 57 years, Robert James (Jim) Fleming. We were blessed with four children, eleven grandchildren, four great grandsons and two great great granddaughters.

I graduated from SIU-E with a Masters in Education. After teaching and supervising, I retired after 30 years from the Illinois Center for Autism in Fairview Heights, IL. Ten years ago we moved to Mayfield, KY. We enjoyed fishing bass tournaments and fixing up classic cars. Jim passed on May 2, 2016. He was my whole life and best friend. I miss him every day.

I now volunteer at a food ministry, belong to a card club, the Graves County Genealogical Society and enjoy cruising in my 1957 Chevy Nomad. Just recently, I did my DNA which led me to start my family tree on Ancestry which then led me to the Find a Grave website. What will be next? I do not know what the future now holds for me.
