Bio

This is a hobby.

March 2024, I hope to be active this Spring filling requests for Oneota. If you're reading this and happen to have a request, it is very appreciated for you to call for a location of the grave. Thank you!

If you have additions or corrections to any memorial, just click "Suggest Edits" and fill out the form. Please also use the "Note" box at the bottom of the Edit form to add your source information. It helps save me time trying to confirm your information. I do not have paid subscriptions to any service. If you must use a paid source for proof please copy and paste the information instead.

Please understand that parents must be older than their children, children cannot be their own parents, and mothers must be old enough to have children and also not too old to have children. It seems like common sense but it honestly happens more often than you think. I'm not being mean when I deny the changes. Feel free to contact me or resend edits once they are fixed.

If you have bio information or obituaries please add the reporting source, newspaper, website, etc. to the beginning or end of the information. If the information has been published then we need to provide them with appropriate recognition. I will deny the edit without the source. Find a Grave is cracking down on this because without the source it is blatant plagiarism. If you find unsourced obituaries in any of the memorials I manage, please send me an edit adding the source or add a note saying it needs a source. Almost half of the memorials I currently manage were transferred to me by other volunteers moving out of the area or focusing on different cemeteries. Thank you.

If I have sent you an edit for the plot location on your memorial it means that I took the time to find out the location and either have taken a photo or will in the future, like after the snow melts. Plot locations that are listed with more than 1 Block are from when I photograph entire Sections of the cemetery so that you will be able to walk up to the general location.

Some memorials will have GPS coordinates available by using the Find A Grave App on your phone. Most of those memorials have been transferred to me over time. I intend to get GPS coordinates and/or Plot locations for all the memorials I manage. Please be patient.

Please feel free to add pictures of your loved ones.

Transfers of memorials are done by request- just ask. Please let me know your relationship to the person in your message.
Find a Grave says you must be a direct relation: "Memorials are transferred for direct relatives within four generations. This includes your spouse, siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren." I will allow a lot of lee-way since I am not related to most of the memorials I manage.
Each memorial you would like transferred requires its own request-for sanity's sake-please.
