Bio

Because I expressed an interest in family history at an early age, all of my grandparents began passing down photos, documents, etc. to me as soon as I was out of college. For many years, I was just the recipient of everyone's "stuff" and then after all three children were in school and I was still at home, I began to organize items into family boxes (still not really organized but at least they were separated by family groups). In the last few years, I've become very active on Ancestry.com, have taken an online genealogy class, and am working towards a better method of organizing and documenting what I have collected!

I am particularly interested in the Ritchie/Carson/Collins/Lites families for my personal genealogies and in the Walker/Woodard/Talton/Conly lines for my husband's side of the family.
