I became interested in the family history when I found a packet of pictures from my grandmother taken in the early 1920's. Particular family interests are Butler, Nicholson, Hankins, Lathrop and Hankins on my father's side and Humphrey and Yargus on my mother's side. The Butler side of the family migrated from New Jersey to Ohio to Iowa to the Terre Haute, Indiana and Paris, Illinois area in the 1870's. I am willing to share any information I have although I don't have much.
