Bio

Professional field biologist, born in Kansas with ancestors from England, Ireland, Scotland, Switzerland, and Germany. They came to Pennsylvania, Kentucky and Carolina, west to Kansas and Texas, all coming into America early, 1700 to 1840. Mother was in DAR with 6 patriots to her name. I now live in South Texas. Potter, Prather, Webster, James, Moore, Beeler, Switzer, Stobo, Strother, Fowke, Wray, and more, are family names of interest to me.

A great-grandfather is Felix Peter Webster, born in Pleasant Hill, Dallas Co., AL in 1846, not in Germany as the entry here shows. He died in Germany in 1914, when on a trip to a spa to try to get help for his enlarged heart. They were stuck there at the start of WWI, making it difficult to return. I am pleased this is now corrected.
