I have been fascinated with genealogy and tracing my family's history since I was a teenager. Now that I am older and some loved ones have passed on, I want to make sure future generations are afforded the opportunity to know where they came from. Sitting down and hearing the stories of days gone by or learning little tidbits are treasured memories. I also love that genealogy brings "history to life." It brings a sense of connection to the past. I have also been curious about people in cemeteries and their stories, where they came from and how they came to end up in their final resting place.
