Charles's parents were Elias William Miller and Abbie Johnson Miller Skidmore. Elias's parents were Jesse Miller and Elizabeth Rood. Jesse's parents were John and Margaret Miller. John was born in Scotland.

My grandmother's parents were Mary Ann Williams Manuel and John E. Manuel (born in Wales). Mary Ann's parents were John Williams and Ann Hughes.

On my mother's (Minnie May Coolbaugh Miller) side we have Coolbaugh and Snyder. My mother's parents were Charles Tripp Coolbaugh and Emma Jane Snyder. Her grandparents were George and Lizzie Baker Coolbaugh and Jacob E. and Minnie May Myers Snyder. After Minnie died young, her sister, Ida Isabel Myers, married Jacob.
