Newly fascinated by learning about my ancestors I stumbled upon this site and found a wealth of information.
I am researching the Surnames: Stephens, Young, Strain, Autry, Conner, McGrath, Morton and Shaughnessy on my maternal side and Williams, Todd, Crank, Davis, Bazemore, and many others. Finding my roots has become almost an obsession.
I am trying to make time to visit some local cemeteries to investigate and take some photos.
