We are missing GG Grandfather Smauley, and he is proving very elusive. The family story is that he died during the Civil War. By the time we can pick up his widow, Molly Coston, she has already remarried and only ever had the one child, our G Grandfather Thomas Monroe Smauley.

I am a Harville/Steger/Kendall/Higgenbotham descendent. I dabble in those lines, but they have been well documented by my sister.

I am located close to Abilene Municipal Cemetery & Elmwood Cemetery, both Abilene, and have ties to both Sweetwater cemeteries, Roby Cemetery and Longworth Cemetery, all in Texas.
