I joined Find A Grave when I saw how many memorials were just absolutely wrong. I may be a perfectionist but I don't consider myself so. I just think if it's worth doing, it's worth doing it right., and when I see a mistake I usually just send an email. I have found that most of the time memorial managers are appreciative of new information and make corrections . But I suppose it was inevitable, I would come across those who refuse to believe they are wrong. In which case there's no other way but create a memorial that is correct. I never intended to collect memorials or try to get more than the next person. I never use hearsay, family lore, or such. I learned by doing my own genealogy that there must be proof, a record of some kind.
