I am a hobby genealogist from Stord Norway looking fore my ancestor in USA, i ve been doing this ,fore about 25 years, the reason fore the search is that im courius ,about how they maniged over there, and if someone in my ancestors families in the us, are interested in their ancestors from Norway, i have made contacts with some of my relatives, but it is the ancestors of Jacob and Martha Larson from Veblen South Dakota who moved to Virginia or Williamsburg im looking fore, Jacob was born at Gjøsæter at Bømlo island in Western Norway in 1828 and died in 1915 he had a son Bernt who moved to Virginia, if someone out there know s of him and Clarence his son, and Vera Virginia Fox Hunt whom i are a relative of, i will be glad to hear from some of their relatives, Vera was a well known woman , a nurce and leader of a nurce school, Jacob was my great great grandfather s uncle
