I was born in Denton, TX and raised in the Dallas area and spent my summers in Hope, AR which I now reside.

My mother's parents were Delmer Eugene "Gene" Allen and Jeanette Virginia Byers Allen .

My father's parents were Earl Madison O'Dell Sr. and Hazel "Louise" Hilliard.

I have been doing genealogy for better part of my life. It all started when I found out I had a half-sister when I was 6 years old. I would try to find out whatever I could. I was finally 20 years old when I met her for the first time.
