Back at Christmas 1980 my mother in law gave me a Family Tree book to record my family tree in. Thought it would be neat to see how much I could find out. The journey was started. Here it is 2016 and the book is still blank but I have generations of information on several of my family lines. I am hoping to fill in as many generation as I can. when I first started my research you visited court houses in person. Now with sites like Find a Grave and Ancestry.com you can do most of the research from your home. Thank goodness. Hope to expand my research. I am married with 2 kids, 1 son in law, 5 grandkids and 2 granddogs. I have 2 living blood aunts and 1 uncle still alive. with lots of cousins scattered all over the United States. Just this past week a cousin contacted me that lost contact with my line of the family. So excited. Hope this site helps me fill in lots of the blanks of information that I have.
