Our African-American paternal family began in Birdle Creek, Virginia with Reuben Hash, he had six children, Rosa, Laura, John. Myrtie, James and Charlie. Between, them it is too many to name, but we are working on it. I am one of the Charlie daughters, Juanita's, sons.

Our family migrated to North Carolina and West Virginia.
