While searching Ancestry.com for my family history and making significant discoveries that afforded me the ability to learn things about myself, I decided to volunteer to transcribe and / or photograph headstones of the cemeteries nearest to me. I also became a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Nathaniel Sackett Chapter in Monroe, OHio in March 2017 through my Patriot, Peter Linville, through my mother's side. As part of my being inducted into the DAR, I undertook an Independent Project to photograph and transcribe the remaining headstones in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Reading, Ohio. My hope is to assist others in finding their ancestors and to link the past with the present. I pray my work will be a blessing to you! Susan
