Bio

My name is Mary Martin Eisel. I grew up in Diana, Upshur County, Texas, USA.
I live in Western Pennsylvania now, but am still very much involved in East Texas. "God bless Texas"

Some of my family names are Claywell, Vance, Chrisman, Manning, Bandy, Martin, Jones and Eisel. My Grandmother was Minnie Eva (Claywell) Chrisman, Martin, Bandy # 92703931, my Dad was Floyd Martin (birth certificate reads Chrisman) # 5434935, my Mom was Eleanor A. (Manning) Martin # 139088561.

We moved to Pennsylvania in 1967. My first husband (Jones) and I divorced. I remarried later and I am still living in South Western Pennsylvania in the small town of Addison.

I love all animals, but hold a special place in my heart for special needs, senior, abandon or abused dogs. I have 3 of my own that I have adopted or taken in. Everyone needs love and a good home. I will continue to help them as long as I live.

In 1988, I lost my 13 year old nephew Jason Martin due to a automobile accident. His memorial number is 5657820. If you get a chance, please leave him a flower and read about him. He was a special young man who loved God. I know my sister and brother-in-law would appreciate a flower.

Old cemeteries have always been special to me. My husband, Jimmy Eisel # 65494816, passed away in 2006 and is at rest in a beautiful old country cemetery. One day I joined Ancestry and that got me involved in Find A Grave.

If you find a mistake on a memorial that I made, please contact me so that it might be corrected. I make mistakes all of the time. I try to proof read and correct, but I still mess up. LET ME KNOW.

There are so many memorials where the person has not a single flowers. How sad is that? If you create a memorial for someone, PLEASE LEAVE THAT PERSON A FLOWER. It is very troubling to fine memorials with "0" flowers. If you have time to make a memorial, you need to make time to leave a flower.

What a great gift it is to help others find their loved ones from the past and help them learn a little more about that person. My thanks to ALL who help others on Find a Grave everyday.

PETS - PETS - PETS. Please remember that not only humans need to be remembered. It is important to remember our pets. God put them in our care and we need to make sure they have a memorial. Be sure to visit our Eisel Family Pet Cemetery in Addison, Somerset County, Pennsylvania. # 2628980
"You think dogs will not be in heaven? I tell you, they will be there long before us." (Robert Louis Stevenson)

PLEASE NOTE: I will gladly transfer a memorial. Please request the transfer and state your relationship, if any, to the person on the memorial.

"Life - The time Gods gives you to determine how you spend eternity".

Thanks so much,
Mary Martin Eisel
