Bio

There’s something rewarding about visiting graveyards. My wife, Judy, is the photographer, I am the genealogist/historian.
Growing up, I was that kid who knew more history and genealogy than pop culture. I started doing genealogy with my Mother at a young age. My participation seems to have been more my idea than hers. I have been doing genealogy since, 40+ years. I now blame microfilm readers for my bifocals. (lol) We have most of my primary lines back to the point of immigration. We’re filling in the secondary lines. I do have a degree in History and years of researching for Revolutionary War reenactors.
We’re happy to photograph grave markers. I’m relatively new to Find A Grave. (I wish I had found it years ago.) I prefer requests with plot information. Since I still work fulltime and commute, I have time constraints.
I am primarily interested in Find A Grave as a means of preserving grave markers and making them available to as many people as possible. I will only use the dates from the markers. If the marker is incorrect, so be it. I come here see markers I can't get to. I offer the same in return.
You are welcome to use any of the pictures we provide in any manner you wish. We only ask the courtesy of credit for the photo.
I'm more than happy to turn over maintenance of any memorial I create.
