I started genealogy about 33 years ago but took a break to raise children and participate in life because as you know a family tree will absorb your time very quickly. So everyone is married and all is good so I decided I needed something to do so I went back. What a journey ! I wanted if not a picture of the individual then I wanted something to acknowledge that soul. So I started taking headstone pictures. Some were unreadable. So that lead to learning how to clean them. That lead to learning how to repair them which lead to answering request on Find A Grave ! My husband and I will take a road trip on the weekends to search for both requests and family..it's an Awesome way to connect . I am a firm believer that Every Headstone Tells A Story.....just read the story.
