I live in Western Pennsylvania and am a direct descendant of James Tenney, Revolutionary War veteran who immigrated to WV from Massachusetts with his wife from Rhode Island, Thankful Shippee and their 11 children in the early 1800s, settling on what later became my grandparents farm in Upshur County, West Virginia.

I'm also descended from John 'The Indian Scout" Cutright, Samuel Pringle of Sycamore tree fame, Hans Wilhelm Strader - immigrant from the Netherlands, Sir John Hanmere (Hamner) from Wales, Burr, Snyder, Casto, Ours grandparents and great grandparents from MA, WV and VA... so have my major genealogical interests in these families in additon to my wife's Houghton and Anderson ancestors from Jackson, Clay & Kanawha Counties in West Virginia.
