I grew up in the country outside Harrison, Michigan. Summers were spent golfing and snowmobiling /cross country skiing in the winters on my parents' property.
Marrying into the Army, my husband's last tour took us on a 4 year assignment to Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.
Our eldest daughter was named after my mom. Our youngest (and 2nd) daughter was named after an ancestor who spelled her name Sarrah.
I spent over 25 years working in the field of Vocational Rehabilitation. Some of these challenges included Austistic Children within the school system and Mental Health, the Visually Impaired with the Commission for the Blind, the Physically Impaired with Independent Living, the Mentally Retarded at 2 Sheltered Workshops and a variety of Mental Illness at Mental Health. Upon our move in 2016 to the Raleigh, NC area, I retired and am enjoying traveling, spending time with friends, gardening and arts/crafts. In 2018, my husband and I moved to PA. and I'm continuing to enjoy researching my ancestry and meeting Distant PA Eisenhardt / Baumer Kin-Folk.
