I'm interested in researching my ancestors from North Carolina - Wingate, Cashion and Hager from Lincoln County. My mother, grandmother and
great-grandparents were all born in Lincolnton.

My 2nd Great Grandfather, Peter Wingate, established a farm on Buffalo Shoals Road just outside LIncolnton in the 1800's. His descendants farmed there until 1919.

I had the honor of visiting Lincolnton Oct. 2019 and found the graves of my great grandparents.
